Functional Smith Machine

One frame, two builds. The E6251A is plate-loaded and takes its resistance from plates you already own. The E6251B is the selectorized build with integrated weight stacks (60 kg x 2 standard, 80 kg x 2 heavy), which is where its heavier assembled weight comes from.

The footprint is identical either way, so the choice is about the floor, not the drawing. Plate-loaded suits a strength crowd who are already handling plates and want the loading to match the rest of the room. Selectorized suits mixed-ability floors, hotels and condos, where a pin is faster and nobody leaves 80 kg racked for the next member to strip.

Both builds carry the same Smith rails, cable system and pull-up bars, so the training on offer does not change with the trim.
